Motorola Android Phones

If you thought that Samsung will rest after launching its line of Galaxy S, you were wrong. After a successfull sale of the Galaxy S devices, it seems Samsung will come out with another Android phone following the same line. The new device rumored to join the market is called Galaxy Q and is expected to be a full-QWERTY phone focused to conquer all Blackberry users.

So, what do we have here? As the leaked specs show, it is pretty much a smaller improved version with keyboard of the Galaxy S. Unlike the Galaxy S, this new handset will ship with Android 2.2, powered by the same 1GHz Hummingbird CPU, 8MP camera with LED flash, a smaller display of 3-inch, 1.3mp front-facing camera, QWERTY keyboard, 16 GB internal memory (microSD expandable up to 32GB).

The 8MP camera is a nice upgrade for the Galaxy Q in comparison with the Galaxy S, maybe to balance the smaller 3-inch super AMOLED display. Since it is expected to be a Blackberry competitor, and because there is no image available yet, it will most likely have the keyboard below the screen.

As for the price and release date or which carrier wireless will bring the device, there are no details offered yet. Plus, we need a photo to make an impression about this little fellow. We'll keep an eye open as new juicy infos come out for the Galaxy Q. Stay tuned!
Here's a neat comparison of all Android tablets put together by our sister site AndroTablets.com. It is similar to our list of phones so it has all the specks known at this moment for all tablets, including prices and release dates. There you'll find all the available tablets but also those that will be released later this year or those just rumored. It will be updated constantly so be sure to bookmark it if you want to know what's going on in the tablet market.
Remember the Acer Stream? First time this Android phone appeared, it was back in May at Google I/O conference without no technical details but with a full description at the Computex event in June. After being spotted over at Expansys UK page, there is now official confirmation for the Acer Stream to be launched on August 9th.

According to the press release, "the perfect entertaiment smartphone" will be available starting with August 9th 2010 exclusively from the UK online retailer Expansys for the amount of £399 including VAT ($615). Called a "high-end multimedia smartphone", we remind you what you can find on this device. It will run Android 2.1 OS, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor with its 512 MB RAM, a generous 3.7-inch WVGA display, a 5megapixel camera with 720p video recording, HDMI out port and full DLNA / UPnP support for media streaming.

If you want the phone for playing advanced 3D games or other entertainment activities, remember you can pre-order the Acer Stream from the Expansys online page for the mentioned price tag
